IT services in
Sant Celoni.
About 26 km from Granollers, roughly half an hour via the AP-7 and C-35. Sant Celoni is an industrial town: more than half of the registered salaried employment in the municipality is in companies with 250 or more workers. PC repairs, networks, Wi-Fi and cameras for homes, shops, industrial units and masies (traditional farmhouses), from la Batllòria to the Montnegre.
What we do near you
Same team, same prices as in Granollers. These are the services we offer in Sant Celoni, both in the town itself and in la Batllòria, Vilardell and the outlying countryside.
65 km² and 941 residents outside any village
Sant Celoni's municipal area covers 65.23 km² with 290 inhabitants per km², according to Idescat. In the 2025 population register, 941 people live in scattered rural settlement: all of Montnegre (313), all of Pertegàs (277), Olzinelles (50) and Fuirosos (11), plus 278 in the countryside around la Batllòria and a dozen spread between Vilardell and the town. That's almost one in every twenty residents, in an area that reaches deep into the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park.
One town, la Batllòria and four farmhouse parishes
The town is home to 16,541 of the 18,916 residents. Outside it there's la Batllòria, the most populated settlement after the town (1,168 people in the village and 278 in its surrounding countryside), and Vilardell, with 266 in the village. Montnegre, Pertegàs, Olzinelles and Fuirosos have no village centre: Idescat records them entirely as scattered settlement. The municipality also includes the housing estates of Boscos del Montnegre, Cal Batlle, Can Coll, Júnior Parc and Roial Parc. Montnegre and Olzinelles were municipalities in their own right until they were incorporated into Sant Celoni in the first third of the 20th century, and Sant Celoni is one of the thirteen municipalities that share the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park, an area of some 15,000 hectares managed by the Diputació de Barcelona.
Radio links and Starlink: when the house is a long way from the cable
There's no public source that says, house by house, which connection reaches each farmhouse in the Montnegre, and we're not going to make one up. What is documented is that in 2020 the Generalitat allocated €916,000 to extending its public fibre network through the Baix Montseny, between Sant Celoni and Hostalric, with small villages and industrial estates in mind: it's a network offered to operators, not a home connection. For an isolated house or a masia, the useful question is what reaches that particular plot. Here we assess a point-to-point radio link when there's line of sight, a Starlink installation when there isn't, or both combined so you have one as a backup.

What working in Sant Celoni is like
Sant Celoni isn't served the same way everywhere. A flat in the town, a house in la Batllòria and a masia in Pertegàs or the Montnegre are three different jobs, and the first thing that decides which one it is isn't the device that's failing: it's which connection reaches that point in the municipality. That's why, before visiting a house out in the countryside, we ask what line it has today and where you can see the sky or the nearest mast from.
On the housing side, the 2021 census counts 6,807 main residences: 45% are between 61 and 90 m² and 1,044 are larger than 120 m². There are also 1,139 secondary or empty homes, 14.3% of the housing stock. A house that sits empty for long periods needs specific things: cameras or an alarm with alerts to your phone, and a router that can be checked remotely without anyone having to go round and restart it.
On the business side, industry is mainly between the town and the AP-7, on the Molí de les Planes and Nord-est industrial estates, with chemicals, metalworking and electronics according to the Town Council itself. And in the town there's the Hospital de Sant Celoni, with everything that usually surrounds a hospital: private practices, physiotherapy, administrative agencies. What they ask for there isn't speed; it's a backup that can genuinely be restored and patient or client data stored the way the GDPR requires.
About Sant Celoni
How long does it take to get from Granollers to Sant Celoni?+
About 26 km and around 30 minutes by road between the two towns, via the AP-7 and the C-35, according to the routing tool we use to calculate journeys; with traffic it can be a little longer. The call-out is included: we don't charge mileage to come to Sant Celoni. When the problem is software (a reinstall, an antivirus, a network setting) it can often be fixed remotely without waiting for a visit. For networks, cameras, radio links or Starlink we do need to come out, and we go to the town itself as well as la Batllòria, Vilardell, the housing estates and the farmhouses of the Montnegre.
Do you cover la Batllòria, Pertegàs, Vilardell and the Montnegre?+
Yes. According to the Idescat gazetteer as of 1 January 2025, la Batllòria has 1,446 inhabitants (1,168 in the village and 278 in the surrounding countryside), Montnegre 313, Pertegàs 277, Vilardell 276, Olzinelles 50 and Fuirosos 11. Montnegre, Pertegàs, Olzinelles and Fuirosos are entirely scattered settlement: there's no village with streets, just houses and farmhouses set apart from one another. In total that's 941 residents outside any village, and it's precisely where it makes most sense to talk about radio links, Starlink or a mesh Wi-Fi network covering a house, an outbuilding and the garden under a single network name.
Do you work with companies on the Molí de les Planes and Nord-est industrial estates?+
Yes. The Town Council places most of the town's industry between the town and the AP-7, on these two estates, with a strong presence of chemicals and growth in metalworking and electronics; the Enciclopèdia Catalana adds plastics, pharmaceuticals and electrical components. It's a landscape of large plants: in June 2026, 3,745 of the municipality's 7,030 general-scheme Social Security registrations (53%) were in employer accounts with 250 or more workers, compared with 35% across Catalonia and 19% across the Vallès Oriental as a whole, according to Idescat. But it isn't all large plants: there are 1,115 registrations in accounts with up to 9 workers and 1,290 self-employed. We work the same way with all of them: networks for industrial units and offices, industrial Wi-Fi, access and perimeter cameras, backups and support when a machine can't be allowed to stop.
Is there fibre in Sant Celoni's housing estates and farmhouses?+
It depends on the house, and nobody publishes that data street by street, so we won't give you percentages. What is documented is that in 2020 the Generalitat allocated €916,000 to bringing its public fibre network to the Baix Montseny between Sant Celoni and Hostalric, with small villages and industrial estates in mind. That network is offered to operators so they can provide service, but it isn't a home connection: the fact that it passes nearby doesn't mean it reaches a particular farmhouse. If your home is out in the countryside or on a housing estate and your current connection isn't good enough, what we do is look at the options for that plot: a radio link if there's line of sight, Starlink if there isn't, or a combination so you have one as a backup.
Do you work with households and shops in Sant Celoni?+
Yes. According to the 2021 census, Sant Celoni has 6,807 main residences and 1,139 secondary or empty homes, 14.3% of the housing stock: houses that sit empty for long periods and benefit from cameras with phone alerts and a connection that can be checked remotely. In 2023 the Town Council awarded a contract for number-plate recognition cameras at the entrances and exits of the municipality, but that monitors the access roads into the town, not the door of every house or the shutter of every shop. We repair computers, set up networks and cameras and provide ongoing support whether you're a home user, run a shop in the town or a company on the industrial estate.
